We want to deliver the true and delicious taste of “Kuroge Wagyu,” the pride of Japan.

It is said that the current production of Kuroge Wagyu has resulted in the loss of the delicious taste of the traditional Japanese Kuroge Wagyu breed, as the breed has been improved mainly in terms of the beautiful appearance of its tannins.

Our goal is to produce Kuroge Wagyu so that all consumers can enjoy the original fatty flavor of the Kuroge Wagyu breed.
We would also like to introduce Japan’s pride, “Kuroge Wagyu” to the world.

Asanuma Livestock Breeding’s Commitment

Commitment to Quality

Black cattle are very sensitive animals, so it is important to keep the cattle stress-free 365 days a year, every day, and how they are raised in a relaxed environment. We always keep the cows’ beds clean, conduct health checks every morning to keep them in good health, and constantly check the amount of food each cow receives to ensure that they are eating the right amount of food at all times.

Each and every one of our staff members is passionate about Wagyu black cattle, and we take great care in fattening them up. We are also particular about the farmers from whom we purchase our calves, and we work with farmers who carefully raise their cattle by hand from the time they are calves.

We purchase calves mainly from farmers in Hokkaido, where we fatten cattle that have been raised in the same environment since they were born, so there are fewer environmental changes and less stress for the cattle.
In addition, the consistent hygiene management enables us to correctly identify the history of disease treatment, etc., so that we can produce safe and secure meat. In addition, as calves are raised on Hokkaido grass and natural underground water, we produce healthy and safe cattle as our original cattle.

Commitment to Deliciousness

Wagyu beef has a unique sweet and fatty aroma, which is also called “Wagyu Aroma”. Asanuma Wagyu challenges you to enjoy the rich aroma of Wagyu beef, its sweet flavor, and its melt-in-your-mouth texture.

It is said that the low melting point of fat has a great influence on the melt-in-your-mouth texture. In addition, the amount of unsaturated fatty acids in the fat is largely related to genetic factors.

Japanese Black cattle originally have a gene that produces more oleic acid, and by fattening and producing cattle from bloodlines in which this gene is particularly strongly expressed, delicious meat can be produced. Therefore, at our ranch, we take a scientific approach when introducing calves, analyzing the gene genome and purchasing cattle with high oleic acid levels.

Commitment to being a top brand

During the fattening period, which is important for body building, we feed grass that is rich in protein elements. In addition, in order to increase the cattle’s liking for grass, we mix feed with high sugar content feed so that the cattle can eat a large amount of grass on a stable basis. In addition, during the period of high quality meat production, we feed mainly corn and fusuma as well as other compound feeds.
